We have finally (after 4 years of talking about it) booked our flights to Japan, we decided to use the excuse of our honeymoon to book it. We are flying in to and out of Tokyo, so our trip will start and finish with a few days there, with at least one day dedicated to shopping...Im so excited for the crafty shops, the pens, the notebooks, all that washi tape.
Apart from that we don't have too much planned out, we have a few ideas of places to visit and specific things we want to do, we will just book things - as and when - through out the year.
Places we really want to visit:
- Okunoshima (Rabbit Island)
Things we want to see and do:
- Tokyu hands (Japans answer to hobbycraft)
- Tokyo Robot Restaurant
- Cat Cafe
- Harajuku District
- Kit Kat shopping (ooo so many flavours)
- The bamboo forest
- Golden Temple
Im sure there are so many more things that I will add to the list as I research more, but so far this is where I'm at, I think just wandering around will be amazing. I am so excited to eat the food that they make so cute, use the street vending machines and try out their crazy musical toilets.
